Jeff co-manages the M&A Advisory practice at First Annapolis. He joined the firm in 2010 and offers clients more than 25 years of experience working with large financial institutions to successfully complete strategic transactions.

Since joining First Annapolis, Jeff has supported clients on several important transactions. Jeff worked with Edcon on the sale of their 11 billion rand private label business to Barclays; First Annapolis earned the 2012 ‘Deal of the Year’ award from Acquisition International for our role as sell-side advisor to Edcon. He advised Bluestem Brands in their new and innovative funding arrangement with Santander Consumer US. Also, he led our work with FirstBank Puerto Rico to re-enter the credit card business and acquire their $400 million card portfolio from FIA Card Services.

Jeff has worked with other clients on portfolio acquisitions, valuations, card partnership programs, new business strategy, due diligence support, and related activities.

Prior to First Annapolis, Jeff served as Managing Director of the Financial Institutions Group in Citigroup’s Global Investment Bank (f/k/a Salomon Smith Barney). He worked on many of the breakthrough deals in the consolidation of the credit card industry and advised clients on over thirty M&A transactions. After the investment bank, Jeff worked in Corporate Development for Citigroup and subsequently in Business Development for Citi Cards.
